Everyone yearns to be part of something greater than yourself. It’s called the dream. Usually is picture perfect and inadvertently structured by the people we admire most.
Bill Gates, Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey are pretty common for obvious reasons. However, we only see the best of them from their flashy lifestyles and spasms of laughter from their fulfilled lives.
Rarely do we want to admit that it’s not always going to be sunshine and rainbows. You are going to fail so many times before your shine. It’s going to take a lot of wit not just wishes. Our idols sometimes fail to show us exactly what it took.
Notwithstanding, their biggest play was pushing the boundaries and being an inspiration to show us that there’s a light at the end of the tunnel.
Fear of the unknown will hold you back and overcoming is just your first step. At some point, imperfectly informed with butterflies in your belly, you will still need to act to your own unknown.
Doing something you are little not ready to do is how you grow. Achieving success is not a one-size-fit-all shoe. We all have our different paths you just have to figure out your purpose bring the passion and zeal and get to work!
All this may sound like the mumblings of your everyday motivational speaker who has his whole life figured out. Be not mistaken I first hand know the frustration that comes with wanting success so bad but you are stuck.
Every ounce in you wants to be break out of the cocoon and be part of something big. Embracing stuck and fighting is where all the difference comes in. We are at war with ourselves. This is a war in your mind and the key to winning is feeding your mind with positive thoughts.
Someone once told me the people you meet and the books you read makes all the difference in life. These sums up to your mind set. Your mind-set is the one thing that’s sets us apart from our success stories.
Surround yourself with the right people who motivate you to be the best version of yourself. Desist from mediocrity and complacency. These are the greatest threats to your motivation and consequently the dream.
