Siblings Esther and Ezekiel Mutesasira proved their mettle and won the hearts of fans across the East Africa and were crowned the inaugural East Africa Got Talent winners in Nairobi, Kenya. The due from Uganda put up an electrifying performance during the finals of East Africa’s Got Talent to win the award.
After Sunday evenings performance and win, the duo are now $50,000 rich and have officially launched their singing careers.
The finals of the inaugural East Africa Got Talent was held at the Catholic University of East Africa in Nairobi, Kenya. The finals had six acts competing for the price money with Esther and Ezekiel facing stiff competition from Kenya and fellow Ugandans.
The two talented stars are children of legendary Ugangan gospel singer Julie Mutesasira. They came to Kenya for a mission and brought with them their A game from the semifinals through the finals and effectively convinced the whole East Africa that they were indeed the best.
