Candidates will today (Tuesday, November 21) know how they performed in the 2017 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examination as Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i releases the results.
Initially, KCPE results used to be released a day after the December 25th Christmas festivities but after Dr. Fred Matiang’i took over the mantle at the Education Ministry, things have change with the latest development being their earliest that the results have been released.
As a result of this development in the marking and release of the national exams, all candidates who sat the exam will receive their results as there was no case of malpractice recorded. CS Matiang’i applauded the primary school teachers and school heads on their efforts to ensure that there were no irregularities on their end.
The 2016 KCPE exams were released on December 1.
