Egerton University on Tuesday 17th October 2017 held its annual Gender Awareness Day at the university’s Graduation Square in Njoro Campus.

This year’s theme for the event was “Economic Empowerment through Gendermainstreaming in the Changing World of Work”

The 17th Egerton University Gender Awareness Day saw students and both members of teaching and non-teaching staff come together to celebrate the strides made towards achieving gender equality and equity.
