Student who got bursary from Nairobi Women Rep now seeks hostel fee

Neema Ogega seeks for school fees and hostel fee. Management University of africa

Management University of Africa student who got her school fees cleared by Nairobi County Women Representative is seeking for more funds to cover her hostel fees.

After posting her plight on Twitter, Neema Bosibori had her prayer answered after Hon Esther Passaris promised to clear her outstanding fee balance.

However, in an exclusive interview with The Campus Lady Magazine, Ms Bosibori said that she is still unsure of her academic future.

“Since I posted [my plea on twitter] it’s just one offer that has come true. That of Hon Esther Passaris offering to pay all my fee until I complete my bachelor degree course in commerce,” Ms Bosibori told TCLM.

“The only challenge I have now is how to obtain my hostel fee” she added almost immediately.

According to information from the Management University of Africa website, the institution does not offer accommodation to its students.

“However, students can make their own arrangements for accommodation. A list of accommodation facilities is available at the office of the Dean of Students,” reads a statement from the university website.

Since hostels are outside the school compound the cheapest hostel goes for Ksh. 10,000 per month.

Skills to work part time

“I’ll be so much grateful to get at least even a month paid and I can hustle through the semester to pay the rest,” Ms Bosibori pleads.

“I personally believe that I am a strong woman who stands up for herself and do not believe in friends. I also happened to be brought up in such a way I couldn’t trust relatives,” she intimated to TCLM.

She believes that her skills will see her through the semester working part time as long as she gets the first month rent paid.

“I am a make up artist, a social media manager, a digital marketer and a writer. On weekends I can do cleaning like the mama fua I clean clothes utensils and general house cleaning” she says requesting anyone with such opportunities to reach out to her.

The Bachelor of Commerce Student has a lot of aspirations for her life and would appreciate anyone who supports her.
