The Campus Lady Magazine CEO Among FOYA Nominees

The Campus Lady Magazine Founder and Chief Executive Dennis Shisia has been nominated for the Founder of the Year Awards (FOYA).

FOYAs seek to recognise and celebrate outstanding young entrepreneurs who create jobs and other value-adding opportunities in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda. The FOYAs cater to two distinct age groups of 20 to 30 and 31 to 40. The entrepreneurs are nominated in 14 categories.

Mediapreneur of the Year

The Campus Lady Magazine CEO has been nominated in the Mediapreneur of the Year Over 30 category.

The Mediapreneur of the Year Over 30 category has attracted some of the leading media owners in the country. Some of the names in the same category include Media Mongul and KCB Lions Den Lioness Olive Gachara of Couture Magazine and Kevin Mulei of NRG.

Speaking shortly after he learnt about his nomination, Mr Shisia expressed his delight in the fact that the work The Campus Lady Magazine is doing is being recognized.

“This is a humbling experience and a testimony that The Campus Lady Magazine is indeed an important part of the Kenyan college community

“Being nominated against media giants such as Olive Gachara of Couture Magazine and Kevin Mulei of NRG Radio is not a mean feat” he said.

  2. Register an account on the site
  3. Go to “Nominees” tab and scroll down to “Mediapreneur of the Year”
  4. Click on “Over 30” Category
  5. Scroll down until you get to “Dennis Shisia”
  6. Follow the prompt and vote

You can vote as many times as you want. Voting closes on 21 September, 2020.
