A man who is believed to have killed a Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) student in July was found eating grass at the place where the lifeless body of the student was found a week ago.
The student, Tabitha Kiiti, was reportedly last seen boarding a city-bound bus on a Saturday 21st July 2018 morning in the company of her colleagues hours before she went missing. Her body was later found dumped outside the university gate on July 24 evening.
A video that surfaced on Twitter on Sunday morning shows a man only identified as “Baba Ciru” eating grass at the same scene where Tabitha’s body was found a week ago.
According to eye witnesses, when the student’s body was found, her father gave instructions that her body should not be moved until he got to the scene.
He later arrived and performed some rituals and took soul samples from the murder scene to Ukambani for further rituals.
It is believed that it is the rituals performed by the girl’s father that led to the latest developments in the case.
